Bugger. I only got to this message a month too late. Serves me right
for not automating my reading of the home automation list...

Just in case you ever fancy another chat over a pint, I live in
Cramlington and work in central Newcastle.

The home workbench has about 10 "80% complete" HA projects on it
from
windvanes to LD11 Linux Extended X10 tests. My cupboards even contain
old NE555V based IR extenders and Cat-5 linked video cameras (sssh-
don't tell Keith!).
