RE: Webpads

I've got a PC used primarily as an MP3 jukebox and shared Internet access
connected to a monitor in the front room and my main TV in the Living room.
The audio is connected to a (partial) whole house ammplifier so I can play
the MP3s in Bathroom, Front Room, Living room and Kitchen. The keyboard and
Mouse are Logitech Wireless and the range is good enough to use them from
any room in the house ! The Keyboard has multimedia keys so you can play,
skip track, pause etc.

Now what I could really do with is just the flat touch screen to go in the
Kitchen, linked to the same PC. I've already run Cat5 to the kitchen.

Do such beasties exist yet or are the current Webpads full PCs ?

I now Keith has a VGA receiver\trans KAT5 module in the pipeleine. Would
any
of the current KAT5 modules under development be able to cope with touch
screens ?
