Sorry Stuart, but I disagree. This wasn't my first time by any means:
I've installed, over the past couple of years:
- Windows 98 about 30 times
- Windows NT about 15 times
- Windows 2000 about once :-)
- Linux about 10 times...
... I still find Linux harder. In fact, it's the old Network cards under
DOS experience that's been helpful...
Regards,
Mark

wayhay! another convert. Could you let me know what HOWTO you picked? I
have my firewall done with a wizard, and I don't feel I fully understand
what it's done. I have a vague idea, but I wouldn't be confident in being
to re-create it without the help of the wizard.

Try and remember when you first installed NT (I presume you used that
before 2000), how long was it till you got that up and running the way you
wanted it? Next time you install Linux, you'll do it quicker, and quicker
still the time after that, it's the same with anything really though isn't
it.
