They'll be at least 60W bulbs in both fittings. Luckily I've just
specc'ed
new mains halogen lighting for all the rooms in the new place, and the
minimum load will be 100W, usually 150W, up to 500-600 in one room.
I'm in (a somewhat wet) Crawley.
While I'm in the questioning mood - anyone used the Visonic cordless alarm
stuff. I notice that it's 433Mhz, and I don't get a very good range -
perhaps 10-15 feet - out of the X10 RF stuff I've already got - a Hawkeye
MS13e; a TM12 and the old fashioned RF controller. I really need about 20
metres indoors to get from the back to the front of the bungalow, and I'm
worried that the Visonic stuff won't do this range.
