TSOP was - Urgent - Time to kill, want to build IR Extender



Nigel,

Do you know if the TSOP 1738 is available currently and would it be a
suitable alternative. The difference I instantly notice is 80k resistor
built in instead of 30k in the 1838. Or am I mis reading.

I am new to building components but have a keen interest
