Please Kwong,

With the help of others I have decoded the programming schema for the IR
portion. The one thing I'm having trouble with is sending the command
followed by the data bits. X-10 is looking for two eight bit numbers, but
the IR protocol only seems to let you send numbers in strings of 5 bits.
Can
you ask them if there is a way of sending 8 bit numbers? (None of the X-10
remotes will allow you to do this, but I am attempting to hand code the IR
stream using a Pronto universal remote). Obviously I would be happy to make
my coding available to anyone who would like it.

I can have a go at asking X-10 Europe for more information on the IR543
(IR7243).
