There's been a lot of discussion recently about ADSL, but has anyone=20
noticed that Telewest has launched Broadband Cable Internet?
The areas that appear to be available now are: Basildon, Chatham,=20
Chelmsford, Gillingham, Grays, Gravesend, Maidstone, Rochester and=20
Southend.
I live in Maidstone and entering my postcode on their website=20
confirmed this and offered to contact me to arrange installation.=20
I'll certainly be contacting them to get more technical details -=20
ie., whether certain ports will be blocked, etc.
Cost is =A350 per month.

Mind you, I just dumped Telewest cable television in favour of Sky=20
Digital. Let's hope their Broadband Cable is better!
