That is what I believe to be happening - as I noticed that from a normal
corded phone, when I pick up the handset, I immediately get a dialtone,
then
as soon as I press * Comfort sees this and seizes the line.
When I try the same with my DECT handset, pressing * has no effect -
Comfort
does not cut in on the line, therefore Comfort is not seeing a * being
transmitted, and I assume this is because it is being supressed at/by the
handset.
Thanks for the tip about entering * twice - I didn't think of that, I will
try that tonight and see what happens... (I'll let you know...)
