Correct Tim...I'm using the IR543. There's a picture of it on my site
here...

Some news which some of you may not know. While Keith was over he rigged
up
the sample LD10 DIN Rail dimmer module
(http://www.ukha.demon.co.uk/review-ld10.html)
for us to have a play with.
Unlike any other UK module, it has a feature called "Memory Dim".
 If you
dim a light to say 25% then turn it off and back on again it comes on at
25%! If you dim it down to say 10% then turn it off then send it a
"Bright"
command it will turn on and ramp up from the previous 10% level instead of
going on at 100% first like all the other UK modules! It's obvious that
with some creative macros you could have a "soft-start" effect
with the DIN
rail modules. I plan to have the Comfort alarm system turn on the lights
(from movement detected by PIRs) by sending an "On" command
followed by
"Bright" commands. HomeVision will then pickup the
"On" command and kick
off a timer. When the timer times out the HV will then send multiple
"Dim"
commands followed by an "Off". The lights are then ready to be
switched on
again by Comfort giving the soft-start effect.

This is all theory at present BTW :-)

There is a great .ccf file for the Pronto that includes all the
"proper" X10
commands. I got it at the ProntoEdit site along with lots of extended
codes
for my equipment that isn't on the original remote! Examples...I now have
a
specific button for "On" and "Off" on my Sony TV.
Original remote only has
a Stand-by button that toggles the state. I also have a button for
switching the TV direct to External 2, the original remote has one button
that you must press to cycle thru' all the externals until you get to the
one you want. I got some extra buttons for my DVD player and the whole set
of controls for my Yamaha DSP-A1 amp!

Go to http://www.prontoedit.com
and got to the "Download CCF Files" section.

Regards

Mark
