co-ax cable

I'm starting to get a little confused on the co-ax cable front.

What type of cable should I be using? I want high-quality co-ax for
in-house
TV distribution from a standard TV amp/splitter.

RG6, RG6x, RG5x, CT100, CT125, etc...

What's the difference and which is the most suitable for my use?

Thanks in advance.

Phil
