Absolutely :-)

In fact, if your subwofer has a balanced XLR connector on it you can use
just a KAT5 TX and feed the balanced signal directly from the
KAT5---CAT5---SUB by connecting as follows

Using LEFT Channel of KAT5
BLUE/White  to XLR 2
WHITE/Blue  to XLR 3

Using RIGHT Channel of KAT5
GREEN/White  to XLR 2
WHITE/Green  to XLR 3

If your Sub only has an unbalanced Phono then you will still need a KAT5
RX.
