New Build Recommendations

Hello all, this is my first posting to this group.

I have been asked to automate a new build house which is at the
first fix stage now. My question is, do I simply flood wire the
house with CAT5 cable relying then on the Kat5 modules to distribute
audio, video and automation signals - taking for granted voice and
data - or is it advisable considering the accesibility at the
present time to also run speaker cables, coax cables and the like?
Also is it OK to use UTP CAT5 or is STP necessary in any situation?
