can have no enthusiasm at all for anything SCART ... All of these cast body
SCART connectors are a waste of time! The important part of any connector
is the connector portion and in this respect the SCART&nbsp;connector

from the back of what is inherently a weak connector is not exactly the
most intelligent plan in the world! Especially when most SCART connectors
have trouble holding the weight of the multiway cable in the first

cut my teeth on BNC and XLR connectors which are superb ... they have
positive locking mechanisms and work beautifully. Each time I look behind
my AV stack at the SCART cables hanging out of the back of my O.D. Box,
TiVo and DVD player - all drooping at about 10degrees below the horizontal
- and I wish there was some way that I could loop a cable tie
through&nbsp;something to pull them
