If you don't doing a little hardware modification, you can convert a
motion sensor into a wireless door/window sensor.  See
http://www.geocities.com/ido_bartana/ and look on the left side under
Motion Sensor and select "Modifying to be a door/window sensor.

That site has a ton of other nifty modifications documented too.
