So why repost an obvious hoax?

Think about it from another angle, where's the money for doing such a thing?
The bandwidth cost alone, not to mention the archive media, would dwarf any
other items in any budget.  It just wouldn't be cost-effective even if it
were even close to being real.  Besides, it's far easier to just use the the
satellite mind readers.  The latest ones even go through tinfoil hats!
