They are a lot of products available which fulfill your requirements.

The main question could be : is it a limited "one shot" installation or your
system will be extended to cover other kind of needs.

In the first case, any remote operate plug will be enough (Conrad Germany
has several product line including stickable battery operated switch).

In the second case, you should investigate in "normed" home automation
product like zwave ou X10.
