Back then, it used to be like an "old timers" reunion every year. Now
it's mostly out of towners and hot shots who think they know
everything and ask some of the dumbest questions .... like ..... "hey
ya got any of dos cameras dat see in da dark? " Jeeeeeze .... I see
more yarmulkes and orientals and foriegn accents then any other types.
Thought I pulled into the United Nations by mistake .. when I first
got there.

Vegas is alright. I don't gamble, but seeing the shows is pretty
spectacular and seeing the amazing hotels is part of the trip. It's
like these are the American Castles. And if you don't go cheap and hit
the New York priced restaurants, the food is pretty good. I've been to
some of the top restaurants in NYC for a steak but I had the best one
ever, a couple of years ago, last time I was in Vegas. ( never been to
Peter Lugers though cuz they're cash only) Of course, that good steak
came along with a $300.00 tab too. Another time we had dinner at the
top of the Eifel tower across from the Bellagio. Had a fantastic view
of the water and light show while we had dinner. I call Vegas the
Adult Disney Land. Ya gotta go see it at least once and the ISC show
there is an excuse to go and is pretty awsome too ..... even compared
to NYC in the old days. Bring your walking shoes though. It's a
"really" big floor. If the butts cut down on your walking speed, let
me know, I'll meet you there with a paper bag with eye holes over my
head and this old man can push you around in a wheel chair while you
suck on an oxygen mask.

Re the plane...... Stay up all night before you go, then take a
narcotic before you get on the plane. You'll sleep all the way there
and smoke your lungs out when you get there. Same thing on the way
back, but if you gamble, you may have to hitch a ride back east with
another smoker.

By the way, how's your "venture" working out?
