Having once hired a Russian ex-pat, I concur. Laziest, most useless slob I
ever met. He was one of the very few people I actually fired over the course
of several decades.

I understand your point but I think that marking on a curve is appropriate
under cetain circumstances. I don't equate it with socialism. Regardless,
the initial premise the thread was neither a discussion of the relative merits
of grading on a curve nor of socialism.
