Not my Mom.  She uses words more effectively than a back-hand.  I recall once
when I was a young teenager I was at the table bragging (in jest) about my
"experience" with women.  My father said, "Son, I've forgotten more about sex
than you'll ever know."  Mom immediately quipped, "Yes, but did you have to
forget?"  :^)

She's amazing -- 88 years old and she still does the NY Times crossword in
ink.
