A piece of string goes into a bar and asks the bartender for a drink.
The bartender is enraged that a piece of string would even consider
coming into his bar, much less asking for a drink and tells the piece
of string to get out.

The piece of string was totally insulted and was determined he was
going to get into the bar and get a drink. So in an effort to disguse
himself, he goes out in the alley and ties himself in a big knot and
rubs along the cement wall and sidewalk. All ragged and disheveld the
string goes back into the bar. The bartender gives him a look and
say's "Say, aren't you the piece of string I just threw out of here?"
The string says " No, I'm afraid not"
