As usual, Olson is wrong.  He's thinking (or something like that) of
laws pertaining to armed robbery.  Assault in Florida means to
threaten and the law definitely differentiates between guns and toys.

He wanted to fight.  He happened to be about 6'6" and looking like a
line backer.  I pointed a toy gun at him and he turned tail very
quickly.  Unfortunately, he was related to the ADA.  Oops.

Nope.  Florida allowed me to petition for pardon when I returned many
