While I agree that you shouldn't let your anger with your competitor get
in the way of good business, a customer that wouldn't even call you
before making the kind of decision that severed a long standing,
mutually beneficial relationship isn't worth having back (IMO).  Charge
them a premium for the other services you provide and make them aware
that anything involving the security equipment will necessitate a
separate call to their "new provider".
