If you're going to use one just for the modem, get the largest you can
afford. If you're also going to give some back up for your computer...
get the largest you can afford, and don't plug a CRT monitor into the
battery backed outlets. Check the modem itself, some models have a
small battery backup built in. Adding a UPs is a decent idea.
