It wasn't Sharpton that got him fired.  It was the advertisers.  They might give some heed to Sharpton but most just fear consumer
backlash.  IMO It's democracy combined with capitalism at its finest.  Then again, I didn't like Imus anyway.  I'll bet Howard Stern
is really enjoying this.
