I ran across your site completely by accident, but it was well worth
the trip.

I remember Bobo from the rec.aviation* groups. Glad to see you're
keeping him busy in ASA. His memory is still alive and well in
aviation. At a recent fly-in, the airport outhouse had a sign on the
door - "Basshole". This guy is a true aviation legend.

BTW - My first reaction when I heard that a plane had flown in to the
World Trade Center was that Bass had somehow managed to get a student
solo signoff. Given his past escapades, he'd be prime recruiting
material for Osama.
