If more dealers thought that way there would be a lot less take-overs by competing alarm companies.

Very few dealers will even install a non-monitored system. Many will not service an alarm at all unless the customer signs a
multi-year monitoring agreement. This is great for me because many of those customers search the Internet and find my online alarm
and home automation store.
