I don't know yet, I received a call from them looking for a reference on a
guy I fired several years ago. Giving references can be problematic whether
good or bad. I try not to give references one way or the other. If a company
is a good company, I try, very carefully, to let them know they may want to
look at the potential hiree with "eyes wide open". If it is a bad company,
they usually need a body, won't listen to you anyway, thus, I don't need to
get involved.
