Here's one for starters, its embedded Windows XP: I know, not RTOS, but
neither is the Toshiba which is PC Based also, not even sure if the
Toshiba is embedded XP, but ive heard from people that used it and said
it was not worth it.

Honestly dont know of any Embedded RTOS DVRs with 32 channels off hand,
though it has been 2 days with no sleep, so Ill see. There are a few PC
DVRs and DVR solutions that do 32 channels in a 32+ Multi view.

Unfortunately too many of the DVRs and NVRs that claim 32+ channels,
only do a 16 way multi view, which basically is useless unless you want
to use multiple monitors.  Im programming a 32 and 64 channel viewer
now for a PC DVR.
