this kali yuga problem is multi-arrayed:

1) ego is dying. earth is on a definite crash course with the sun, and the
soul of earth won't go down alone. hell?

2) the ignorant among us watch too many hollywood movies. they fear someone
capable of supreme enlightenment will-raping them into giving up what they
value most: individuality (ego).

2a) they are being used by that in which defines them and rules them,
literally.

3) jealousy.

4) fear of self-reliance; lack in knowledge and intuitive wisdom to be
self-reliant; seething hatred for others who are self-reliant.

5) dogmatic philio-religious stupidity mixed with, conscious or not,
invoking an apocalypse; for the reason of stated please refer to "4".

6) we're in kali yuga until the end; whether the end is natural or brought
upon by sympathetic magic, who knows.

7) when the sun engulfs our planet, only the consciously immortal will
survive.

8) Western metaphysics is set for mass destruction.

9) Eastern metaphysics is set for self-reliant salvation.

10) no individual person is to blame -- no matter how much we wish it to be
so.

11) rebelling against a constructed paternal deity serves mass destruction.

12) rebel briefly if you must -- or break free of instinctual, animalistic
molds.

13) shut up and go away. the usenet ruse is but one facet of mass
destruction. meditate.
