Has anyone tried using a dial tone simulator (like Viking) to attempt to
direct connect the Compass downloader via direct connection to low end
Ademco stuff?

It'd be cool to be able to program via laptop on site...for the small Ademco
panels...10x,15x,20x.

I've done it but it isn't any faster than through a standard phone line
