Re: New Napco Ver5 software

Since I used it a lot today I can add to the list

1. Can't resize the screen worth a damn

2. Can't maximize a window within a window, you have to maximize the entire
screen to be able to see the right side scrollbar to move up and down the
list of accounts

3. When you think you've closed the account you haven't really closed it, it
now has a close account button which does that but it only appears in the
zone programming section not on any other screen including the "legacy" zone
programming screen

4.

5. It now shows a timer on the top of the screen after an upload telling you
how much time left before disconnect but it only briefly appears and all you
have left is the software beeping at you when that timer has nearly expired
which is confusing, the timer should always be visible

6. Even tho it has the nifty side panel showing quick links to various parts
of programming I still find myself clicking on the old top icons anyway,
seems easier that way, might make it easier on larger panels but I did a
3200 today and still used the top icons

7. I previously stated the more accounts in the database the slower it is to
load, its also slower to save the account afterwards
