I'm not a Napco expert, but what Robert suggested sounds about right.  I'd
consider installing the power supervision relay as well though.

Any UL listed (or if in Canada - ULC) 12 volt DC CO detector will do you.  I
wouldn't mount it inside the utility room though.  It'll be prone to false
alarms if you're putting it in the same room as the appliances that are
actually generating the CO, unlike natural or propane gas detectors which
you would mount in the same room as the gas burning appliances.  Most of the
manufacturers recommend mounting the detectors near the bedrooms and living
areas of your house.  Mounting heights vary.  Follow the manufacturer's
suggestions.
