Uh-huh...  and how often have you actually tested their operation??  Just
because they haven't false alarmed (and aren't visible), I'll bet you're
*assuming* they're working.  Our residential alarm contracts allow for an
on-site inspection and test of our customer's alarm system on an annual
basis.  This costs the home-owner $50.00 and those that opt for it benefit
additionally because we never charge them for replacement of the control
panel's battery (when it becomes necessary).  Otherwise it would be a $75.00
charge (including the battery and labour).
