Re: Dialer w/Cell Fone

Thanks everyone for the response(s). I'll take a look at the Teleguard
unit. I live in Baltimore County who's not too receptive (they fine the
end user) with respect to false/nuisance alarms. In fact a number of my
clients have opted for having my firm respond when their alarm goes
off. Most of the time I'm around here. And one thing's for sure: if
you're the one getting out of bed at 3 AM, you tend to make sure the
installed system's not a "false alarm generator".

My clients are connected to a CS, but I've had so many problems (lack
of response, lack of correct response, et al) that I hooked the AD-2000
about five years ago. Since then no false/nuisance alarms until last
December.

The December nuisance alarm came from a PIR, which was telling me it
needed replacement. Unfortunately I was traveling. I received the
alarm, but had no choice but to call in the gendarmes, who of course
found nothing. I added internet video monitoring to the system since
then. that will allow me to check out the premises from literally
anywhere in the world. I'm thinking about offering it to my clients.

Again, thanks to those who took the time to answer my post.
