Other than the Paradox DG 75, I was speaking in generalities. Choose the
device of your choice based on overall weight limits of the pets and install
STRICTLY according to manufacturers guidelines and you should be OK. Also,
follow the two cardinal rules of pet motions....1- Don't install the device
such that furniture or other elements will allow any animal to come within 6
measured feet of the device..and 2- Don't aim them at stairways such that
they will be able to "see" an animal running quickly up or down the stairs.

You might also want to put those zones on a two week or so "test" such that
the station will only call but not dispatch involving single motion alarms,
until such time as you are confident there are no problems caused by the
animals.
