Tried that this morning and it didnt connect , but just tried again and its
now working fine ......

This is a neat little device ;-))
For some reason i thought it would only be used for pictures ,but its an
mp3 player as well cool !!

Seems to have lost contact with the server, don't know why that should be -
but I've never left one on overnight yet, so I guess there might be a bug
somewhere - can't think why this should happen though (btw contacting
servers means it's lost contact with xplmedianet, so it won't function in
this state)

Can you try stop/start xplmedianet and see what happens please?
