With all the talk of hubs, logos and xPLMediaNet, the idea of creating
a spec for xPL menus seems to have fallen by the wayside.
It would be useful to develop this idea, so that various xPL
applications can use the same files to present a consistent interface,
and also so that we only need to write one menu editor application!
I'd certainly like to use that approach to add an xPL menu to
MediaPortal, and to create menus for my PocketPCs. It may even be
useful for MVP menus.
Gerry seemed to have the most developed concept so far - perhaps we
should adopt that, or at least base the xPL menu spec on it?
