xPLMediaNet V2.3 Bug Fix Patch Released

Hi all,

Have just released a full patch update to xPLMediaNet

http://www.xplhal.com/xplmedianet/UPDATE_200509171500.zip

This updates all dll's and overwrites all keymap.xml files, index.htm and
all the transcoder loader xml files (also includes latest xpl readme.txt)

This fixes playback problems:

A) all devices, transcoding would either stop playback or crash device
after
first track

B) exstreamer, fixes issue with transcoding dropping out due to too small a
buffer

C) rio, fixes issues with native ogg/flac and transcoding playback

On the software player front you can now specify resampling and bitrate
like
http://myip:port/winampname/b=96&s=22050
(you can just specify b= or s= on
their own if preferred, bitrate is between 8 and 320 in multiples of 8,
resampling rate is not checked. An invalid pair of values will cause
transcoding to fail). If you specify resampling then mp3's are also
transcoded.

This release also fixes a number of other issues I've found

Don't think mvp will be released this weekend as there are a few features
still to be implemented and a few bug fixes to be fixed, and I'm short on
time at the moment

Dave, if you renamed the keymap2.xml to keymap.xml this update will
overwrite it. Please, as a preference, can you edit clients.xml and set
keymap="keymap.xml" to keymap="keymap2.xml" for slimp3s
using sony remote)

Regards
Tony
