Ok, this is odd

The slimserver has ir maps for the slimdevices remote and what it says are
a
jvc remote

Though the picture obviously shows a sony remote!

Unfortunately not, I need to find the code the slim sends to xplmedianet

We could use an xpl monitor program to take a look, but you cant lock the
remote down without a working remote!

Could you try editing keymap.xml?

Wherever you see <power ir="0x768940bf" /> change it to
<power ir="0xf7b3"
/>

And wherever you see <add ir="0x7689609f" /> or <menu
ir="0x7689609f" />
change to "0xf743"

Then start xplmedianet and see if the record button gives you a menu, and
whever power has any effect please?

If these work then I can build a keymap based on the jvc stuff, as it would
show jvc/sony are the same thing

Thanks
Tony
