The MVP uses RC5 too. And they chose to map 1=2, 2=3 etc

I really like RC5, really short (and consistent) ir code sequence in the
pronto (so you instantly know if you've got a miss-capture)

Given it only uses the last 6 bits for the ir value (I think) I was hoping
I
could get it to use a code not used on the remote, but unfortunately when
it
gets one of these the firmware seems to simply ignores it or switches the
MVP off! Shame, could really of done with mapping an unused code
