Ok, I fixed the problem with "Server object, ASP 0177 (0x800401F3)
Invalid
class string" error message.  I had to uncheck the anonymous login
checkbox
for directory permissions.

my script (written in jscript not vbscript however) that i mention in
that post uses the xpl_asp.dll.  debugger never starts when i use this
script.  when you use xpl_asp.dll, it doesn't matter if you have the
xpl hal web stuff working.  that is completely separate from this dll.

also, my xPL_ASP.dll (as well as squtil.dll) is located in
winnt/system32.  did you register xPL_ASP.dll too?
