Yes, that was with the firewall turned off. I've just tried again and it's
the
same.

Yes. I've completely uninstalled it now to make sure.

I've also just tried using a slimp3 player and it does effectively the same
thing - it gets as far as showing the xPLRioNet welcome message, then after
a
short while the display just goes black and it doesn't respond to the
remote at
all.

Any ideas?
