Hi All
Have just modded my prototype xPL-LCD board so i can use the Qprox
Touch switches.....When i powered up the switches went beserk...sending
trigger messages...
My initial thoughts were must be because the leds are being pulsed (pwm)
..so i ripped out my nice blue leds from the housings ;-(......Tried again
and still the switches went went silly
Anyhow i had tested using a 4n7 cap but decided to use 22nf caps (what i
had in stock)..too sensitive....
Put in some 4nf caps and all is well n o false triggers ;-) ...i can even
put my leds back in place with no interference...
The value shown in their sample is is 10nf and im going to try these as i
need a little more sensitivity.....
Good news is its working and i have it setup so that when a button is
pressed the leds brighten up and then gradually dim back to the standby
level...;-))
Have put some pics (4 off) in the pic section of the xPL List...Did also
try
to put them in the UKHA_D pic section but must be on its limit there as it
brought up an error ???
Still some work to do on this ...the housing used is actually the box i got
with my one wire hub that some of us got a while back..........
More Soon
Frank
