Obviously ;-)
I don't mean flat files - wrong choice of words, just flat tables
i.e. instead of separate tables for artist, album etc it will use a single
table repeating the information rather than keys
The use of keys in itself presented problems due to scanning occurring
while
stuff is queued on devices etc
Also relational mean't having to use pre-built queries to get around issues
with highly complex table relationships (and apparently aren't supported in
mysql)
The flat table approach means it should be able to be used with any
odbc/ole
db database?
Thoughts?
Thanks
Tony
