Hi Guys,

I'm in the process of trying to get my rs232 digital multi
meter to use xpl.

I'm looking at the sensor.basic schema as the meter is an
output only device

However, looking at the supported types only voltage is
shown. I need to state both AC and DC volts and current.

What is the best way to do this. I don't really want to use type generic
as it's the meter that outputs what the reading is.

I am I allowed to define new types as in

DC mA
DC A
AC mA
AC A
DC V
DC mV
AC V
AC mV

Regards,

Paul
