I misunderstood your post Tom - apologies.=20
When you said "xplcm12 thinks there is no hub (V3 functionality)"
I
thought you were saying that xplcm12 would not work with anyone else's
hub!
I can see what you meant now.

?
It's version 3.0.1906.30714, based on v3.3.1886.31454 xpllib.dll - I'm
not certain yet, but it certainly seems to consistently fail (no event
log errors, port 3865 is bound, but no operation either) on my xplhal
machine. I am using the same version on my desktop PC without any
issues. A bit more testing first before calling it a definite bug, I
think :)

Tom, I am not knocking your code, but this is something that I have
already made my concerns known about. When we discussed this back when
you released the v3 code for beta testing, I commented about my concerns
about having hubs present in regular apps.=20
It's around 11th November 2004 in the archives.

Possibly. As I say, it's certainly not my intention to criticise your
code, only to highlight my concerns - I am convinced of the merits of
the v3 code, I'd just prefer to see the hub as a separate entity rather
than included into applications.
Ian.
