xPLRioNet uses a DirectX filter graph to grab the thumbnail images from the
movie files.
As a result, you need to have a suitable MPEG codec installed on the PC
running xPLRioNet - otherwise DirectX won't be able to grab the thumbnail.

As a test, can you play the MPG files in Windows Media Player?
Do you have any DVD playback software installed on the PC? Packages like
WinDVD usually install suitable MPEG codecs.
