xplrionet new install issues

Just installed it again to have a play.
as I dont want to wait for it to scan all my mp3s, I have only given it a
small
small subset of them.
However, there is no responce from my rio when turned on.
Its getting assigned an IP from my DHCP server. And I can ping that IP, but
the
screen of the rio keeps saying that its searching for the music server.
The web interfce of xplrionet then gets a Unit 2 in the list on the left,
but
clicking on it leads to nothing happening. - IE does the page cant be
displayed
thing, mozilla just animates its logo for a fraction of a second and doesnt
change page.
