What could we do to pursuade you to finish it!

I have just bought my first x10 equipment and want to integrate it
with slimserver via xpl.

I only have a linux mashine which a)has a serial card b)switched on 24/7

Would a perl version of xplhal be able to directly control x10
equipment on linux?

Hoping you get more free time for perl xplhal!
Cheers
