Hi Frank,

This is by design

In xplrionet each track was played to conclusion, and then the whole
process
of playing was started afresh which meant osd messages (and a device
display) would be in synch with a track starting playing. But this meant
gaps between tracks...

Now, by popular request, this has changed in xplmedianet. Basically on
completion of a track the playing mechanism immediately streams into the
next queued track... This means there is no way of knowing, with most
clients, when exactly it physically finishes playing a track because the
end
of the previous track is still in the devices buffers playing out... Which
is an uknown quantity. If you use skip I'd expect the osd to pretty much in
synch though, since the buffers are flushed...

With regards to a playlist finished message there isn't a specific
"playlist
finished" message but it will send out status/trigger messages to say
it's
stopped (I think!). If it isn't let me know and I'll add something.

Regards
Tony
